Packaging from Recycled Bottles

Many of the products manufactured by Peninsula Packaging contain as much as 70 percent recycled drink bottle scrap collected from municipal waste systems. Peninsula receives the cleaned and washed scrap which is then used to produce high quality packaging products. The PET plastic products produced by Peninsula are themselves recyclable (check with local curbside waste haulers and collection centers in your area).

Clean Energy from the Sun

Peninsula's 10-acre photovoltaic "sun farm" generates 1.1 megawatts of CLEAN, renewable, electricity to supplement electrical power used to produce Peninsula's packaging products. This installation is the largest privately funded installation of its type in North America and produces about one-percent of all of California's solar generated power.

• Reduces green-house gasses-29 million pounds per year.
• Saves 123,000 barrels of oil, or, 56 million pounds of coal, or, 712 million cubic feet of natural gas per year.
